" This is a beautiful little piece that gets under the skin of real people. It is both poignant and funny despite apparently limited material...Jeffrey Mayhew who also directs is Excellent...this touching drama is a gem "

" Like a shared mug of soup on a nippy day, this moving little play is an oasis of peace in the rather raucous Pleasance Courtyard...a wondrous stage creation "

" Genuinely engaging...Cyril's Little Moments is a poignant, understated portrait of a middle-aged man caring for his demanding, wheelchair-bound brother."
"Under Mayhew's direction, the actors underplay nicely, keeping the story on a small scale with, for example, Cyril's frustrations just hinted at by small gestures of anger he can safely make in the knowledge his brother won't see them. It is little touches like that, and like the realistic awkwardness of two older people not used to making new friends, that stick in the mind and make for a warm and moving hour."
"This very human story is solidly played by an experienced cast, and smartly directed, especially considering the constraints of a tiny playing space and a wheelchair. Heartrending and exasperating, the production skilfully communicates human frustration and isolation, before reaching its tragic if rather abrupt conclusion."
"it's good to see the Fringe offering so well-considered a reminder that there's more to life's troubles than the pains of youth."
